GAZA, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)The Israeli occupation army carried out multiple aerial and artillery attacks in the Gaza Strip last night and on Thursday morning despite the announcement of a ceasefire agreement at dawn.
Meanwhile, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen, as about two million people remain displaced and are facing severe famine amid ongoing strikes and widespread devastation.
According to media sources, Israeli warplanes carried out morning raids on Gaza City’s az-Zeitoun neighborhood.
Israeli gunboats also opened fire towards the coast and beach of an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, while Israeli tanks fired projectiles at the northern area of the camp.
More Israeli artillery attacks were reported in the east of Hamad City in the northwest of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza as well as in the neighborhoods of ash-Shuja’iya, at-Tuffah and al-Daraj in Gaza City.
The Israeli army also detonated two explosives-laden armored vehicles in Gaza City’s as-Sabra neighborhood, destroying several homes.
Some casualties were reported in the last few hours following Israeli attacks in different areas, including a civilian who was shot dead in Gaza City’s al-Jala street.
Other Gazans were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in previous attacks, according to medical sources.
