Islamabad (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Today, Pakistan celebrates the birth anniversary of its founding father, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. On this occasion, his unwavering and principled stance on Palestine is being remembered—a position that continues to serve as the foundation of Pakistan’s foreign policy and national ideology. Quaid-e-Azam had strongly condemned the establishment of a Zionist state in Palestine, famously declaring, “Israel is like a dagger thrust into the heart of the Muslim Ummah.” He warned that the creation of Israel was not only a grave injustice to the Palestinian people but also a lasting threat to the peace, unity, and sovereignty of the entire Muslim world. His position was more than political rhetoric; it represented a principled and ideological commitment rooted in support for oppressed nations, justice, and resistance to imperialism. He described the Zionist agenda as a serious threat to regional stability and urged Muslims worldwide to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Following Quaid-e-Azam’s guidance, Pakistan has never recognized Israel and continues to assert that it will not recognize Israel until its last breath. The Pakistani nation and its leadership remain united in supporting the freedom of Palestine and safeguarding Jerusalem, which forms a core part of Pakistan’s ideological identity. On this historic day, political, religious, and social leaders emphasize that Quaid-e-Azam’s vision remains more relevant than ever, and Pakistan must remain steadfast in its principled stance, providing moral, political, and diplomatic support to the Palestinian people, in line with the ideals of its founder.
