GAZA, (The Palestinian Information Center)The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, issued a global appeal on Thursday, urging people worldwide to escalate solidarity actions with Gaza in response to the Israeli ongoing genocide, starvation, and forced displacement of more than two million besieged Palestinians in the coastal enclave.
In a statement, Hamas called for three consecutive days of action, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (September 19–21), as “days of rage” against the occupation and its supporters. The Movement urged global protesters to raise their voices against international silence and inaction, demanding an end to the genocide, the opening of border crossings, and the lifting of the blockade.
Hamas encouraged mass demonstrations across cities and capitals around the world, denouncing the destruction of residential towers in Gaza, continuous airstrikes, and the forced displacement of civilians. The statement also condemned US backing of the occupation and what it described as international complicity.
The Movement called for intensified protests outside Israeli and US embassies, as well as embassies of states supporting the occupation, to expose crimes of genocide and starvation and to reaffirm the Palestinian people’s right to freedom and independence.
Hamas also highlighted the importance of mobilizing student, labor, and parliamentary platforms to increase pressure on governments and institutions to halt the genocide, stop the forced expulsion of Gaza’s residents, and ensure the urgent entry of humanitarian aid.
The Movement further urged support for the “Global Sumud Flotilla” heading toward Gaza, stressing its humanitarian role and warning Israel against targeting it.
“Hamas calls for a new phase of sustained global mobilization against the Zionist aggression,” the statement read, “to amplify the outcry against killings, bombardment, genocide, starvation, and forced displacement, while unifying efforts to end the assault, lift the blockade, and reopen crossings.”
