OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan) For over 10 days, extremist Jewish settler groups have been inciting and preparing for mass break-ins and violations at the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.
These settler efforts coincide with the Jewish holiday season, which is regarded as the most aggressive period of the year for the Mosque.
On Tuesday, these settler groups intends to organize mass break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque to mark what they call the Sukkot holiday, considered the most provocative and dangerous event in the Jewish holiday season.
Local researcher Ziyad Abhys warned that Jewish temple groups plan to stage the largest-ever mass break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque during the Sukkot holiday.
“The Sukkot holiday lasts for seven days, during which settler beak-ins at the Aqsa Mosque are organized every day, except for Friday and Saturday. However, temple groups may still attempt to desecrate the Aqsa Mosque on Friday as part of efforts to impose a new fait accompli,” Abhys said.
He added that these groups would try to hold Jewish rituals for the first time inside the Aqsa Mosque compound under police protection during the holiday.
