GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Rafah Municipality announced the start of leveling operations as a prelude to establishing temporary shelter camps, in a step aimed at alleviating the suffering of citizens whose homes were destroyed during the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The municipality explained that it is working in cooperation with several charitable associations and institutions to provide safe shelter for those affected.
The municipality called on parties wishing to contribute to the project to contact it via the electronic link published on its official platforms.
The municipality stressed the importance of the cooperation of all charitable parties and institutions in these difficult circumstances to ensure temporary shelter for those who lost their homes.
According to primary estimates, the Israeli occupation army completely destroyed more than 60% of the homes in Rafah city.
