JENIN, (The Palestinian Information Center) Two Palestinian children were martyred and other citizens sustained injuries on Monday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at them in Jenin refugee camp, north of the West Bank.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 14-year-old Islam Majarmeh was shot dead, and another child, Mohamed Alawneh, later succumbed to his injuries after Israeli forces opened fire at them in Jenin camp.
Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers targeted citizens, including children, as they tried to enter the camp to check on their homes.
Other citizens also suffered serious bullet injuries and were evacuated by Red Crescent ambulance crews to hospitals.
The IOF reportedly kidnaped eight citizens and took them to a house in Jenin camp.
