AL-KHALIL, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Several Palestinian civilians were injured on Monday evening following an attack by Israeli settlers near the town of As-Samu’, in the southern al-Khalil governorate.
Osama Makhamra, an activist against settlement expansion, reported that settlers assaulted the area of Khirbet al-Kharaba, southeast of As-Samu’, targeting civilian homes and causing injuries among residents.
Manea al-Daghameen sustained bruises and contusions during the assault, while Adi al-Daghameen and a woman were affected by pepper spray exposure, resulting in fainting. All were transported to Yatta Governmental Hospital for treatment.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the West Bank witnessed around 23,827 attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in 2025, leading to the killing of 14 Palestinians. Settler violence has also forced the displacement of 13 Bedouin communities since the beginning of last year, affecting 197 families.
