WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli settlers attacked multiple towns and areas across the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, continuing a pattern of assaults and intimidation targeting Palestinians, their land, and their property, under the protection of Israeli forces.
Local sources reported that settlers attacked residents in the Al-Wadi area of Jalud village, southeast of Nablus. A number of local youths attempted to confront them, leading to clashes.
In Ramallah, settlers, escorted by Israeli forces, raided the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of the city. Deputy head of the village council, Marzouq Abu Naim, said that settlers targeted the southern part of the village and allowed their livestock to graze on residents’ land.
He added that Israeli soldiers were deployed throughout several neighborhoods, firing tear gas heavily between homes. No injuries were reported.
In a related incident, settlers stormed Palestinian land in the Arab al-Khoul community, east of Kafr Thuluth, south of Qalqilya.
Kafr Thuluth mayor Jihad Odeh said that settlers, accompanied by their livestock, entered the community and issued direct threats to its residents, around ten people, demanding they leave their land. He added that one resident, Kaed Khoul, was forcibly removed from his home at gunpoint to allow settlers to graze their livestock in the area.
Odeh noted that this was not the first such incident. Just last week, settlers attacked the community and vandalized property as part of ongoing efforts to seize the land and forcibly displace residents.
Approximately ten people live in the Arab al-Khoul community, located in an area known as Khirbet Oyoun Kafr Qara. The area is surrounded by eight Israeli settlements: Ma’ale Shomron and Shavei Shomron to the north; El Matan and Ganei Shomron to the east; and Nofim, Yakir, Emmanuel, and Karnei Shomron to the south. The only remaining access route for residents is from the west, leading to the town of Kafr Thuluth.
