WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Extremist Jewish settler groups carried out violent attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property in different areas of the occupied West Bank last night and at dawn Monday, injuring nine citizens, burning homes and cars, and blocking roads.
In eastern Nablus, nine Palestinians were injured during a settler attack on the town of Deir al-Hatab, including a 45‑year‑old man who was shot in the foot, according to the Red Crescent.
Six of the injured were beaten by settlers, one suffered suffocation from gas and smoke, and another sustained a fracture after a fall during the settler rampage in the town.
Settlers also set fire to homes and vehicles inside the town before firefighters managed to control the flames.
In Ramallah, settlers attacked the village of Burqa shortly before midnight on Sunday, setting fire to the health clinic and a commercial truck.
The settler attack caused material damage and sparked panic among residents, while local sources affirmed that it was carried out under the protection of Israeli forces.
Meanwhile, a horde of settlers closed several roads around Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate.
According to local sources in Ramallah, settlers reportedly gathered at the Karamilo rotary, blocking it completely before shutting the Taybeh–Karamilo barrier and staging rallies near the intersections of the illegal Shilo settlement.
Settlers also closed other roads in the governorate, including the Ein Ayyoub road west of Ramallah and the route from the town of Taybeh to Jericho, using stones, which obstructed the movement of Palestinians.
In Bethlehem, settlers gathered at the western entrance of the western countryside, particularly in the Aqabat Hasna area, the main access point to the towns of Nahalin and Battir and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin, where they carried out provocations and attempted to attack Palestinian vehicles.
In another incident, settlers demolished a house’s wall in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, and assaulted a 47‑year‑old Palestinian in the Jabel al‑Arma area, injuring him, according to the Red Crescent.
