JERICHO (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A horde of extremist Jewish settlers assaulted a Palestinian shepherd and stole dozens of sheep belonging to his family in western Jericho on Tuesday evening.
According to al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, settlers severely beat a young shepherd called Sami Yasser, damaged his cellphone and stole a flock of about 250 sheep belonging to his father.
The young man was grazing the sheep in the area of Wadi Qelt spring, west of Jericho.
Al-Baydar said that the Palestinian presence in the grazing lands of the West Bank is systematically targeted by Jewish settlers, especially in the northern Jordan Valley.
