Several Palestinian worshipers were injured after being attacked by a group of settlers near the Aqsa Mosque’s Asbat Gate on Friday.
According to local sources, Jewish settlers attacked the worshipers before attempting to enter the Aqsa.
Clashes erupted in the area when Palestinians tried to confront the Israeli attack.
Israeli police forces intervened to protect the settlers, firing teargas bombs at the Palestinians
