JERICHO (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Under military protection, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers held a provocative and boisterous party at dawn Monday near Arab al-Ka’abneh School in the northwest of Jericho in the occupied West Bank.
According to Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, dozens of colonists stormed the al-Maarajat area before dawn and gathered near the Arab al-Ka’abneh School, where they played loud music and used megaphones to chant religious slogans
General coordinator of the organization Hasan Malihat described these settler practices as deliberate acts of provocation and intimidation against the local residents.
“This is a new escalation and part of many violations the school has been facing for months, including repeated raids and assaults on its teaching staff and students,” Malihat said.
In a separate incident, the Israeli occupation forces demolished in the morning an agricultural structure in Beit Liqya town in western Ramallah.
Local residents also reported receiving demolition notices against their property in the same town.
