Dozens of Israeli settlers broke into Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday morning amid heavy police presence and tight restrictions on Palestinian worshipers.
Jerusalem’s Islamic Awqaf Department said that the Israeli police allowed dozens of Jewish settlers to storm Aqsa Mosque in the morning.
The settlers performed Talmudic rituals, roamed al-Aqsa courtyards, and received explanations about the alleged temple.
Meanwhile, the Israeli police tightened entry restrictions on Palestinian worshipers.
The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon, except on Fridays and Saturdays.
