WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A horde of extremist Jewish settlers stormed the village of Arab al-Malihat in the northwest of Jericho, while others attacked a Palestinian family in the east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources said that settlers escorted by soldiers stormed Arab al-Malihat with their livestock and spread among the local residents’ homes.
Hasan Malihat, the general supervisor of Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that this settler behavior in the village today was part of systematic Israeli attacks targeting the Palestinian Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley with the aim of displacing the local residents from the area.
In a separate incident, a group of settlers launched last night a stone-throwing attack on Palestinian cars traveling on a main road near al-Maniya village in the southeast of Bethlehem. No one was reportedly hurt in the settler attack.
Another group of settlers also attacked on Wednesday evening the family of Abu Fazaa al-Ka’abneh in the east of Ramallah City and set fire to a car parked outside a house. The attack happened in the presence of Israeli soldiers.
The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided medical assistance for eight citizens after settlers launched arson attacks in the eastern area of the city.
