AL-KHALIL, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)
A horde of extremist Jewish settlers destroyed hundreds of grapevines and olive trees in the Khilat al-Hums area, south of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.
In a statement on Monday, Al-Baidar Human Rights Organization reported that groups of settlers from the illegal Susya settlement bulldozed vast tracts of agricultural land in the Khilat al-Hums area, destroying about 500 grapevines and 350 olive trees belonging to the family of Obaid al-Masri.
The Khilat al-Hums area has long been exposed to daily violations, including settlers vandalizing farmland and grazing cattle and sheep on swaths of land planted with crops.
Al-Baidar Organization also said that settlers started on Monday evening to establish a new settlement outpost in the town of Mikhmas, northeast of Occupied Jerusalem.
It explained that a group of settlers erected structures on a swath of land in the town “as part of ongoing settlement expansion activity that threatens agricultural lands and local communities in the area.”
