WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Two young Palestinians were injured on Tuesday evening during an Israeli military raid on Al-Fawar refugee camp, south of the al-Khalil, in the southern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society affirmed in a brief press release that two young men were transferred to the hospital after suffering gunshot injuries in the thigh and the foot.
Local sources also reported that violent clashes erupted in several areas of the city after being raided by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
The IOF also detained an injured young man who was shot in the face with live bullets in Tulkarem raid and prevented the ambulance crew from reaching him.
Along the same line, the journalist Nagham al-Zayt sustained shrapnel wounds to her right hand while covering an Israeli military incursion in eastern Tulkarem city.
The Israeli army continued a military operation in the Tulkarem refugee camp for the second day in a row on Tuesday. They have killed at least two people, injured dozens and displaced hundreds of families since Monday.
The assault marks an expansion of a continuing military operation in the nearby Jenin refugee camp, where at least 16 people have been killed and 50 others injured since January 21.
