UMM AL-FAHM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Sheikh Ra’ed Salah, head of the Islamic Movement in 1948-occupied Palestine, has warned that the Israeli occupation regime has started to accelerate its plans to impose new faits accomplis at the Aqsa Mosque.
In a televised interview, Sheikh Salah said that there are Israeli efforts to impose colonial military control over the Aqsa Mosque as a prelude to imposing Talmudic religious sovereignty over it.
Sheikh Salah pointed out that Israeli fliers were being circulated recently claiming that the Aqsa Mosque compound is only the Qibli prayer building and the remaining premises and courtyards belong to the Israeli municipality in Occupied Jerusalem, warning that such leaflets pave the way to the Israeli intents to establish the alleged Temple of Solomon at the Mosque.
“The best thing we can offer to the Aqsa Mosque is to continue marching en masse to the holy site and perform prayers in its courtyards during all days and months of the year, not just during Ramadan,” Sheikh Salah underlined.
