GAZA, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)The Hamas Movement has said that the testimonies given by activists aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla regarding the inhumane treatment they endured at the hands of Israeli forces serve as fresh evidence of the brutality practiced by Israel and a stark exposure of its repeated violations of human rights.
In a press statement on Monday, Hamas explained that the activists were subjected to humiliation, abuse, and deprivation of their most basic human rights during their abduction in international waters. The Movement stressed that these events form part of a long series of Israeli crimes committed outside the framework of international law.
Hamas called on world countries, human rights organizations, and humanitarian bodies to document these testimonies and to act immediately to hold Israeli leaders accountable before the International Criminal Court and relevant national courts, in defense of human values and in support of the just cause of the Palestinian people.
The statement emphasized that the Palestinian people continue to face siege, starvation, and ongoing genocide, all while the international community remains silent, further compounding their suffering and emboldening Israel to commit more crimes.
Hamas reiterated its appeal to all concerned nations and rights organizations to urgently record these harrowing testimonies and pursue legal action against Israel and its leaders before the ICC and relevant domestic courts.
