MADRID (Palestine Foundation Information Center) José Manuel Albares, the Spanish foreign minister, on Thursday refused an Israeli proposal to receive Palestinians from Gaza Strip in the event they were relocated out of the enclave.
Albares, in an interview with a local news outlet, said that Gaza is for Gazans and it should be part of the future Palestinian state.
Israeli foreign minister Yisrael Katz had said that Palestinians from Gaza could be relocated to Spain.
The Spanish foreign minister had yesterday rejected US president Donald Trump’s proposal to relocate the Gaza inhabitants out of the enclave. He told reporters that Gaza is for the Palestinians and they should stay there.
