WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center ) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped and detained a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and Thursday morning.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a university student during a raid in al-Bireh City.
In al-Khalil, the IOF withdrew from Sa’ir town after kidnaping a large number of local young men during raids on homes that lasted about five hours.
The IOF also kidnaped social activist Mohamed Asfour from his home in southern al-Khalil and raided homes belonging to the Atrash family in the Wadi al-Hariya area.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli forces kidnaped one citizen after ransacking his home in Silwan district.
In Bethlehem, two citizens were taken prisoner during an IOF raid in al-Khader town.
The IOF also detained eight citizens for several hours during a raid in al-Asakra village, southeast of Bethlehem.
In Salfit, the IOF kidnaped a young man from Marda town and detained three citizens, including mayor Faed Sabra, during a raid in Burqin town.
