KARACHI(Palestine Foundation Information Center)The two-day “Stop Killing Children in Gaza” Arts exhibition was organized by the Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) in collaboration with the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi at Arts Council Pakistan Karachi on Friday.
In an inaugural ceremony, the participants of the exhibition were Secretary General of PLF Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, visual artist Wajid Ali, engineer artist Syed Kazim Ali Askari, journalist and Artist Abdul Wahab Mirza, Visual artist and head of arts department Muhammad Zeeshan, artist Asghar Ahmed, Farrukh Naseem, Bashir Saduzai, Pir Azhar Hamdani, columnist and novelist Humira Syed, Mufti Murtaza Rahmani, Pir Moaz Nizami were present.
Addressing the participants of the event, Secretary General Palestine Foundation Pakistan Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam said that a day arts workshop entitled “Stop Killing Children in Gaza” began on Friday 22 December, and will continue till Saturday 23 December.
Among the participants of the two-day workshop, students from various schools of Arts, colleges, and universities of metropolitan were presented their arts through calligraphy, Canvas, Water Colour Painting, sketching, and Digital Designing. They prepared the scenes of the genocide of innocent children in Gaza by the Zionist regime.
He said that participants’ work will be regularly exhibited on the second day on December 23 in the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi.
In the exhibition, the leaders of various political and religious parties, including teachers from the arts department and civil society will participate and appreciation certificates will be served to the participants.
