TEHRAN, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Iran has started responding to the Zio-American aggression by launching salvos of ballistic missiles and drones on Saturday morning towards Israeli targets in the occupied Palestinian territories and US military sites in the region.
“In response to the aggression of the hostile and murderous enemy against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the first wave of large-scale missile and drone attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran has begun towards the occupied territories,” Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a press release.
In another press release, IRGC added that the Iranian army also launched counterattacks on US military bases and targets in the region.
The Hebrew media reported that sirens sounded in all Israeli cities and settlements, amid official instructions for citizens to enter shelters after the declaration of a state of emergency.
Videos circulating on social media captured thick columns of smoke rising from some sites in Tel Aviv and other areas.
Iranian missile and drone barrages continue to strike multiple US and Israeli military sites across the region, including American bases in the Gulf, according to various news reports.
“We tell Israel plainly: Prepare for what is ahead. Our response will be open, with no red lines,” an Iranian official told Al Jazeera satellite channel.
“All US and Israeli assets and interests in the Middle East have now become legitimate targets,” the Iranian official added, emphasizing that “in the wake of this aggression against his country, there would be no red lines, including scenarios that were previously unthinkable.”
On Saturday morning, the Israeli and US armies launched a wide-scale aerial and naval attacks on different areas of Iran.
