OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation police delivered demolition notices targeting several Palestinian-owned commercial stores near Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, on Tuesday morning.
Local sources reported that Israeli police forces stormed the Airport street area near Qalandia camp, handed Palestinian storeowners demolition notices, and ordered them to start evacuating their businesses.
The Israeli police started on Monday to carry out a large-scale operation in northern Jerusalem targeting Palestinian citizens and their property, especially in Kafr Aqab town and the area around Qalandia camp.
The police claimed yesterday its demolition campaign in the area was aimed at reinforcing Israeli control along the separation wall.
