LAHORE (The Palestine Information Centre) On a visit to Pakistan on the invitation of Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF), the Palestinian delegation visited the office of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Punjab in Lahore where they were received by the central leader Allama Ahmad Iqbal and a large number of scholars.
The Palestinian delegation was led by the leader of Islamic Jihad of Palestine, Syed Al-Baraka, while he was accompanied by the President of the Palestinian Ulema Council, Sheikh Adeeb Yasirji, the Secretary General of the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine, Sheikh Yusuf Abbas, and the Secretary General of the Palestine Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Sabir Abu. Maryam and Usman Mohiuddin, Hasan Nizami and others were present.
Allama Ahmad Iqbal, the central leader of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan, welcomed the Palestinian delegation and said that they are always active in supporting the Palestine issue. Supporting Palestine is part of our faith. Our people love and have the passion to sacrifice their lives for the freedom of Palestine.
On this occasion Maulana Hasan Hamdani, Maulana Ghulam Abbas Shirazi, Maulana Al Rizvi, Brother Afsar Hussain Khan, Brother Hasnain Jafar Zaidi, Maulana Zaheer Karbalai, Muammar Naqvi, Allama Akbar Kazmi, Syed Hasan Naqvi and Yegar were present.
The participants of the Palestinian delegation said that Pakistani Muslims’ love for Palestine, hatred for Israel and feelings are admirable. They said that it is a source of satisfaction and encouragement for us that we have seen demonstrations of love and devotion to the First Qibla, the people of Palestine. They further said that today the movement to return to Palestine has reached 80 countries. The services rendered by Palestine Foundation Pakistan in Pakistan to highlight the issue of Palestine are unparalleled.
They said that we should always be ready to help and support the oppressed Muslims of Palestine and convey this message to others.
