Islamabad (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A three-day Design for Palestine workshop started on Friday, April 26 at Islamabad Arts Gallery F
-9 Park in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, to show solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and to highlight the atrocities of the oppressive Zionist regime.
The three-day workshop will continue on April 27 and 28.
At the end of the workshop, there will be an exhibition of artworks on Sunday.
Design for Palestine workshop is organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) and Islamabad Arts Gallery, along with Hunar Kada College of visual and arts studies.
The Design for Palestine workshop is titled “The Return is Near” in reference to the right of return of the Palestinian people
More than 100 students, including senior artists and teachers, from the Faculty of Arts in different educational institutions of Mansehra and other cities, including Islamabad and Peshawar, are participating in the Palestine solidarity Workshop.
Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, while talking to the media at the beginning of the workshop, said that with the help of arts, awareness campaign related to Palestine cause is going on throughout Pakistan.
After successful workshops and photo exhibitions were held in Karachi in the first phase and in Lahore in the second phase, now the third phase is being held in Islamabad. In the next stages, it will be held in other cities in Pakistan, and the public awareness campaign will continue.
Wajid Raza, Anwar Ali, Ehsan Ahmed, Umar Ahmed, and others among the teachers of various universities, including CONSAT, NUML, and International Islamic University, also spoke on this occasion.
