Three Palestinians martyred in airstrike on Zeitoun, Gaza

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Three Palestinians were killed and others were injured early Monday following an Israeli airstrike in southeastern Gaza City.

Medical sources reported that three people were killed and several others wounded, some critically, after Israeli aircraft targeted a group of civilians near Al-Shafi’i Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Local sources identified two of the victims as Ahmad Oweida and Hassan Al-Malah, with additional injuries reported in the same strike.

Earlier, on Sunday, eight people were killed in an Israeli attack targeting civilians near Well 19, southwest of Al-Mawasi in Khan Yunis, with two missiles fired roughly 10 minutes apart.

A child was also killed by Israeli fire on Salah al-Din Street in Khan Yunis.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, around 704 people have been killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, along with 1,013 others injured and 756 bodies recovered.

The overall death toll since the Israeli genocide on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,580, with 172,013 reported injuries.
