GAZA(Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Israeli occupation army continues to commit more bloody massacres against Palestinian families as its brutal aggression on Gaza enters its 21st day on Friday. It has continued its systematic destruction and bombardment of residential areas, amidst an unprecedented war of starvation and thirst.
In the latest field events, martyrs were killed and others were injured Friday morning after the Israeli warplanes targeted a house in Jabalia camp.
The warplanes also targeted a house belonging to the Yasin family on Salah al-Din Street in the Zaitoun neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, resulting in injuries.
Rescue teams retrieved five martyrs from under the rubble of the Al-Ghundour family’s house, which was targeted by the Israeli air force in the Beit Hanoun area in the northern Gaza Strip two days ago.
Two farmers were martyred in an Israeli shelling that targeted their car in eastern Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
On Friday morning, at least 12 people were killed and at least 16 were injured in Israeli airstrikes on houses in the Sheikh Nasser area and the western camp in Khan Younis.
The PIC correspondent reported that five martyrs from the Abu Shhama family, including three women, were killed in the Ma’an area, while journalist Yaser Abu Namus and his mother were killed in the shelling that targeted their house west of Khan Younis, bringing the number of journalist killed since the beginning of the aggression to at least 24.
Two citizens were also killed in the Israeli shelling of a house belonging to the Al-Alami family, and six martyrs, including two women, were killed in the shelling that targeted the house of the Abu Mohsen family in the Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis.
The Israeli warplanes also targeted the Al-Abiad Mosque in the Shati refugee camp in western Gaza.
After midnight Thursday, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently bombarded the eastern areas of northern Gaza Strip, accompanied by the intense launch of flare bombs over the western areas of Gaza City.
The outcome of aggression
On Thursday evening, the Ministry of Health announced an increase in the death toll due to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip to 7,028 martyrs, including 2,913 children, 1,709 women, and 397 elderly, in addition to 18,484 injured since October 7.
Dr. Ashraf al-Qudra, the spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, said in a press conference on Thursday that the IOF committed 43 massacres in the past 24 hours, resulting in the death of 481 martyrs, the majority of them displaced to the southern Gaza Strip, which the Israeli occupation claims to be safe.
He confirmed that the IOF deliberately committed 731 massacres against families, resulting in the death of 5,224 martyrs since October 7, and a large number of victims’ bodies are still under the rubble.
He pointed out that the international community’s silence on the deliberate massacre of Ma’madani hospital has escalated the pace of massacres committed daily by the IOF against Palestinian people.
And he also mentioned that the Ministry of Health received 1,650 reports of missing persons, including 940 children who are still under the rubble.
Al-Qudra said that Israeli violations against the health system led to the martyrdom of 101 health personnel and the destruction of 25 ambulances, rendering them out of service.
