KARACHI(Palestine Foundation Information Center) A two-day fine arts workshop titled Stop the Killing of Children in Gaza was organized at Karachi Arts Council in collaboration with Palestine Foundation Pakistan and Arts Council Pakistan on 22nd and 23rd December.
The two-day workshop was attended by senior artists, including students from various universities and fine arts institutes in Karachi.
On the first day of the workshop, all participants showcased their art and created images and designs related to the massacre of innocent children in Gaza using various skills attributed to fine arts including digital design, calligraphy, watercolor paint, canvas, and other skills.
In the opening ceremony of the two-day workshop, Mohammad Zeeshan, in-charge of the Fine Arts Department of Arts Council, Wajid Ali, teacher of Arts Department of Gujarat University, senior artist Munawer Ali, Kazim Shagri and Abdul Wahab Mirza, a former teacher of the University of Karachi Owais, Asghar Ali artist Humira Baig and others participated and guided the students.
On the second day of the workshop, on December 23, an exhibition of the works of artists was held at the Arts Council, in which hundreds of citizens participated and witnessed the depiction of the ongoing Zionist atrocities in Gaza in the images created by the artists and participants.
