DAMASCUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Two people were martyred on Thursday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a car in the Quneitra governorate in southern Syria, according to a local Syrian official.
Syrian media explained that an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle carrying the two martyrs at the entrance to the town of Khan Arnaba in Quneitra.
Last Monday, the Israeli army launched a violent attack on Syria, targeting the vicinity of the city of Masyaf in Hama countryside, in the west of the country, killing 16 people and wounding more than 40, in the most violent attack in years.
Over the past years, the Israeli army has carried out hundreds of air strikes on Syria as part of its campaign to prevent Iran from consolidating its military presence in Syria.
