WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Two Palestinians were injured Wednesday evening in separate Israeli attacks in Occupied Jerusalem and al-Khalil amid an escalation in systematic settler violence.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that Israeli forces severely beat a young man near the Jaba military checkpoint north of Occupied Jerusalem. He was later transferred to the hospital for medical treatment.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian man was assaulted by Jewish settlers in the Masafer Bani Naim area east of al-Khalil. He sustained a head injury and was taken to the hospital by Red Crescent crews.

According to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,872 attacks across the West Bank in January as part of an ongoing policy of systematic violence.

The commission said the violations included the forced displacement of 125 Bedouin families, attempts to establish nine new settlement outposts, the seizure of 744 dunums (approximately 184 acres) of land, and the demolition of 126 structures. Incidents also involved physical assaults, uprooting of trees, burning of farmland, and preventing farmers from accessing their land.
