Two Palestinian young men sustained gunshot injuries in an Israeli military raid into al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, on Sunday evening.
Local sources affirmed that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at two young men in al-Mughayyir village before arresting one of them.
The second injured person was later taken to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah for treatment.
Hebrew media sources claimed that a young man was injured in the shoulder and thigh before being arrested for trying to plant an explosive device.
According to a later announcement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, a Palestinian young man was later reported to have suffered chest and thigh injuries before being transported to the Palestine Medical Complex from Al-Mughayyir village.
Al-Mughayyir village is under a tight IOF blockade for 17 days since Monday.
Meanwhile, clashes erupted in Arraba town, south of Jenin, after it was stormed by IOF troops.
Several Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation during the clashes.
Similar raids were also reported in the Tora area of Ya`bad town.
In Bethlehem, a Palestinian young man was detained during a procession celebrating a prisoner’s release in Husan village.
On the other hand, a group of settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles passing near Al-Laban Al-Sharqiya village, on the road connecting the cities of Nablus and Ramallah.
