Two Palestinians killed in al-Khalil, Nablus

WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)A Palestinian elderly man and a minor were killed by Israeli gunfire in Nablus and al-Khalil at dawn Tuesday.

The Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed that 72-year-old Samir Mahmoud Abdel Qader Sabra succumbed to the serious injuries he sustained in an Israeli raid in Nablus last Friday.

The 17-year-old Muhammad Nidal Melhem was also killed after being shot in the abdomen by Israeli occupation forces as clashes erupted at dawn Tuesday in Halhul town, north of al-Khalil.

Eight other people were injured during the clashes.

According to the health ministry, 61 Palestinians have been killed and 1,250 others injured in the West Bank since October 7.
