NABLUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Two Palestinian young men were martyred on Tuesday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at local residents in Nablus City, north of the West Bank.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, Nidhal Mahdi, 40, and Khaled Mahdi, 35, were shot dead by Israeli forces.
The martyrs’ bodies have been seized by Israeli forces.
Earlier, the health ministry said that at least 27 citizens suffered injuries, including from exposure to tear gas, during the ongoing IOF raid in Nablus and its Old City.
A 59-year-old woman also suffered severe bleeding in her thigh after being bitten by a dog belonging to Israeli forces in Nablus, according to the Red Crescent.
A large number of Israeli troops aboard dozens of military vehicles stormed at dawn Nablus City and its old neighborhoods, assaulted local residents, ransacked homes and stores, and smashed doors of several businesses.
The IOF also kidnaped a young paramedic from the Old City of Nablus, amid intensive presence of soldiers in different neighborhoods.
