WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Palestinian prisoner Zaher Raddad, a 19-year-old from Seida town in northern Tulkarem, died of his injuries in an Israeli hospital in 1948 occupied Palestine on Sunday.
Last July, Raddad was seriously injured after Israeli forces encircled a house he was inside in the Ezbet al-Jarad suburb in eastern Tulkarem before bombing it with a drone. He was kidnaped along with three other young from that house after he suffered injuries.
The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs affirmed that prisoner Raddad died at the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba City.
At the time, video footage circulated on the internet showed Raddad, who suffered critical injuries, being used as a human shield after soldiers placed him on the front of an Israeli military vehicle.
In a separate incident, another Palestinian young man was proclaimed dead on the same day after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained last night when Israeli soldiers opened fire at him near the Jalamah checkpoint in the north of Jenin.
The identity of the young man, whose body is being held by the Israeli occupation army, is still unknown.
