WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Two Palestinian citizens were injured and several others were kidnaped at dawn Wednesday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different West Bank areas, amid clashes with resistance fighters.
According to local sources, a young man and a child were injured by IOF gunfire in Jenin during clashes with local youths.
Local sources said that a private car and a house caught fire after Israeli forces intensively fired tear gas canisters and bullets at young men and homes in Jenin refugee camp.
The IOF also raided homes in Kafr Dan town, northwest of Jenin, maltreated families and kidnaped four citizens, including lawyer Nidaa Salah, the wife of prisoner Mohamed Taher.
Moreover, IOF bulldozers destroyed vast tracts of agricultural land and infrastructure during its campaign in Kafr Dan.
Meanwhile, armed clashes broke out between resistance fighters and Israeli forces in Burqin town, west of Jenin.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped at least 30 citizens during raids on homes in Kafr Malik town.
Local sources said that Israeli troops detained 50 citizens from Kafr Malik at dawn and released a number of them after interrogating them.
Four other citizens were taken prisoners during an IOF raid in al-Mughayir village, north of Ramallah.
In Qalqilya, the IOF kidnaped two young men from their homes in Kafr Qaddum town.
