WEST BANK, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and Wednesday morning.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed al-Arroub refugee camp in northern al-Khalil and detained over 50 citizens following raids on homes.
The sources said that the IOF assaulted the detainees, blindfolded and handcuffed them, then herded them into the Arroub Social Youth Center, where they were subjected to lengthy interrogations before being released.
Israeli soldiers also opened fire at civilians after they left a mosque in the refugee camp and beat a number of them.
A teenager was reportedly taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil.
In Bethlehem, another citizen was kidnaped by Israeli forces from his home in Beit al-Fajjar town.
In Tulkarem, the IOF kidnaped two brothers after ransacking their home in the southern neighborhood of the city.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces stormed Hizma town and kidnaped a father and his son as well as a child and his uncle following violent raids on homes.
