GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The spokesman for UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres, Farhan Haq, has described the issue of sheltering displaced people as “the most pressing problem currently facing the Gaza Strip.”
In press remarks on Friday, Haq explained that the number of tents permitted to enter the Strip is insufficient to meet the growing needs of the displaced, given the difficult humanitarian conditions.
He stressed the need for lifting all curbs on the entry of goods into the Gaza Strip, warning that these restrictions contribute to worsening the humanitarian crisis and increasing the suffering of the population.
