GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said on Monday that the delivery of aid is “a matter of life and death” for the children of Gaza, in light of the ongoing Israeli war of genocide and starvation against the Gaza Strip.
The delivery of aid is a matter of life or death for children in Gaza, the UN organization said on X.
It further stressed the urgent need for water, food, medicine and fuel supplies.
“We need an immediate and long-lasting ceasefire to enable the urgent delivery of lifesaving aid.”
For his part, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his concern that a large-scale ground attack on the city of Rafah by the Israeli army will negatively affect the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
