GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) UNRWA said that more than 2,700 Palestinian children under age 5 were diagnosed with severe malnutrition in last May in the Gaza Strip.
“The crisis has reached unprecedented levels of despair as people continue to go hungry across Gaza,” UNRWA said in social media remarks on Wednesday.
UNRWA pointed out that only one medical point is partially functional in northern Gaza, while fuel stocks are critically low at all medical facilities.
UNRWA called for urgently restoring humanitarian access in the Gaza Strip.
