GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) UNRWA has said that the schools in northern Gaza have become unrecognizable after Israeli attacks reduced them to rubble.
In a brief statement on its X page on Monday, the UN refugee agency said, “in Rafah, half the population has nowhere to go but UNRWA shelters.”
“153 different UNRWA installations have been attacked during the war in Gaza. Children should be in our schools to learn, not shelter from bombs,” the agency added.
Last Saturday, UNRWA said that the Israeli army’s intensified airstrikes on Rafah led many civilians to flee Rafah to the central areas of Gaza, while people in the north are on the verge of famine.
