GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 178 on Monday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring scores of citizens, despite the UN resolution, adopted recently by the Security Council, calling for an immediate ceasefire for the holy month of Ramadan.
According to media sources, six civilians were martyred following an Israeli attack on a gathering of citizens in the al-Brazil neighborhood in Rafah, south of Gaza.
Casualties were also reported in an Israeli attack on al-Shaymaa Street in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army bombed a car near an apartment building in the north of the al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing two civilians and injuring others.
Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery, and shooting attacks last night and today.
