GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 237 on Thursday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.
Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, amid intensive attacks in Rafah and northern Gaza.
According to media sources, the Israeli army attacked citizens in the west of Rafah, killing and injuring a number of them.
A Red Crescent crew was able today to evacuate the bodies of two paramedics killed last night as they were doing their job in Tal as-Sultan neighborhood in western Rafah.
The Red Crescent accused the Israeli army of deliberately bombing an ambulance marked by its emblem, killing paramedics Haitham Tubasi and Suhail Hassuna.
Israeli snipers also killed three civilians in Street 8 and near the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza City, while the Israeli army carried out artillery attacks on multiple homes in the area, with no information about casualties.
An airstrike also targeted a house in the ash-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City, killing one civilian and injuring six others.
Four citizens were killed and others were wounded in another airstrike on a house belonging to the family of Zaqqout in an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Meanwhile, civil defense and medical crews started in the morning to search for bodies of martyrs buried under the rubble of bombed buildings in Jabalia refugee camp after the Israeli army withdrew its forces from some of its areas.
More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery, and shooting attacks last night and today.
