GAZA(Palestine Foundation Information Center)As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 67 on Tuesday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and level whole blocks and homes and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.
The Israeli occupation army carried out hundreds of aerial and artillery attacks on different areas of Gaza last night and in the morning.
According to local sources, two citizens were martyred and others were injured following an Israeli artillery attack on Khan Yunis.
Medical sources said that 20 martyrs, including children, were evacuated to a hospital after the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes in Rafah at dawn.
19 other martyrs, including four women and one child, and 57 wounded citizens, including 10 women and 10 children, arrived at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.
The Israeli army also bombed a house belonging to the family of Wahba in southern Khan Yunis, killing one citizen and wounding six others.
Dozens of casualties were reported during Israeli attacks on homes in different areas of Gaza.
Director general of the health ministry Munir al-Barsh said that three children died as a result of the lack of oxygen at the Kamal Adwan Hospital, adding that there are 12 children in intensive care and six premature babies at the hospital.
According to the health ministry on Monday evening, the death toll from Israeli bombardments in the Gaza Strip has risen to over 18,205 martyrs, mostly women and children, while the number of the wounded climbed to over 49,645 people.
