KARACHI (PNIC):- An online video conference was organized by Iranian Cultural Center (ICC) Karachi on Friday, chaired by the Director of ICC Bahram Kayan. On this occasion, the director of ICC, Bahram Kayan, said that the Palestinian cause cannot be forgotten. The so-called peace plan for the Middle East prepared by the United States has failed miserably.
Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, An International Relations expert Dr. Shaista Tabassum, Leading journalist Mubashir Mir, Allama Ahmad Iqbal of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Ali Reza Sajjadi, in-charge of Iranian Consulate expressed their views.
Expressing views at the conference, Dr. Shaista Tabassum, an expert on international relations, said that the double standards of the Western world on human rights violations in Palestine are reprehensible.
Ali Raza Sajjadi, head of the Iranian consulate, said that the Arab world’s relations with Israel is a betrayal with the Muslim Ummah.
Addressing the conference, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, said that the time of defeat of the United States and the occupying Zionist state of Israel has begun. The Muslim world should unite for the liberation of Palestine. Recognizing that the problem of Palestine cannot be eliminated, Palestine historically and geographically belonged to the Palestinians and will remain so. The OIC has failed to play an effective role, which has benefited the Zionist powers.
Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam said that those who speak in support of the Zionist state of Israel occupying Palestine in Pakistan are in fact enemies of Pakistan. Pakistan should form a new bloc in the region along with Iran, China and Russia so that the region including regional issues to be resolved in a just manner.
He called on the rulers of the Muslim world to reconsider their decision on relations with Israel. Israel is not only the enemy of Palestine but also the enemy of the entire Muslim Ummah, he said, adding that countries establishing relations with Israel will soon be the target of Israeli crimes and conspiracies.
The speakers said that the establishment of relations between the Arab world and Israel is a great betrayal. Al-Quds is historically in grave danger and it is the responsibility of all of us to work together to defend Al-Quds. The speakers called on the people to thwart Zionist conspiracies by celebrating Al-Quds Day on the last Friday of Ramadan and to show solidarity with the Palestinian people.
