GAZA, (The Palestinian Information Center) Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis announced the martyrdom of Amin Muslim, one of its transport drivers, after he was shot by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) while performing his professional duties within the complex grounds. Several others accompanying him were also injured.
In a press statement issued Friday, the complex condemned this egregious assault on healthcare personnel and medical institutions, holding the IOF fully responsible for the repeated and systematic targeting.
The complex called on the international community and human rights organizations to intervene urgently and seriously to halt these ongoing violations, demanding the necessary protection for medical teams working in the field.
With US backing, Israel has been committing acts of genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, while ignoring all international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to cease its actions.
The genocide has resulted in 64,718 Palestinian martyrs and 163,859 wounded, the majority of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of thousands displaced.
