Occupied Palestine- Israeli occupation forces demolished on Sunday a Palestinian-owned house in the Tira town in 1948-occupied Palestinian territories, under the pretext of building without a permit.
On Sunday morning, as local sources reported, Israeli occupation forces stormed the Tira town and cordoned off the two-storey house owned by Palestinian resident Samer Titi.
The occupation bulldozers then demolished the uninhabited house under the pretext of lacking an Israeli-issued construction permit.
Israeli occupation authorities have intensified the demolitions of Palestinian houses in the 1948-occupied Palestinian territories.
Israeli occupation forces have demolished or seized 300 buildings across the occupied West Bank, including the eastern part of Jerusalem, since the start of 2022, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs’ (OCHA).
In its recent report, OCHA noted that ‘Israel’ widely uses the pretext of lack of construction permits to demolish Palestinian houses, especially in Area C in the occupied West Bank, which constitutes around 60% of its space.
