W. Bank Tense as IOF Conducts Raids and Kidnappings

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different West Bank areas last night and at dawn Wednesday, assaulting several Palestinian citizens and kidnaping others from their homes.

In Nablus, Israeli forces raided the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya for the second consecutive day, where they turned two homes into military posts, brutalized residents, and seized a Palestinian-owned bulldozer.

The IOF also stormed the town of Qusra with bulldozers, and raided the town of Talfit, which witnessed a settler attack during which live bullets were fired at residents’ homes.

In the town of Beita, Palestinian youths fended off a settler attack that targeted the area of Jabel Bir Qouza near Beita town, south of Nablus.

One young citizen was reportedly kidnaped by the IOF from his home in Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, while another one was kidnaped from the city.

In Tubas, Israeli forces kidnaped two young men from the city and another one from Aqaba town.

In Jenin, Israeli soldiers stormed the towns of Raba, Misilyah, and al-Zababdeh, firing stun grenades to terrorize the residents.

In Ramallah, the IOF stormed the villages of al-Mughayir and Sinjil, where soldiers broke into and ransacked several homes.

In the northeast of Jerusalem, one citizen was taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Anata town.

In al-Khalil, Israeli troops stormed the area of Safa in Beit Ummar town, and the towns of Idhna, Sa’ir, and al-Shuyukh, where they raided a large number of homes.
