WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens and assaulted others during raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem last night and at dawn Tuesday.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed Salfit City, where they bulldozed and blocked roads, destroyed infrastructure, and raided several homes last night.
Israeli forces reportedly forced dozens of Palestinian families to leave their homes at gunpoint in Salfit and assaulted some young men before they withdrew, leaving behind extensive destruction to both public and private property.
The IOF also demolished a house in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit.
In the central West Bank, Israeli forces stormed the neighborhoods of Umm al-Sharayet al-Balou in al-Bireh City, as well as, Jalazone refugee camp, Ramallah City, and other nearby areas, amid clashes with local youths.
At least five citizens were taken prisoner during IOF raids in Ramallah and Bireh Governorate.
In Nablus, the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home in Beita town and another one from Tal village.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces kidnaped a young man and brutalized other citizens during raids on homes.
Israeli forces also broke into and ransacked homes in Teqoa town, southeast of Bethlehem.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli police officers kidnaped a teenager after ransacking his home in Issawiya district.
Police forces also stormed al-Tur village and showered homes and citizens with tear gas canisters and stun grenades, amid sporadic skirmishes with local youths.
The IOF also carried out raids on homes in other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
