WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Two Palestinian teenagers were martyred on Sunday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at them at the northern entrance of Ramallah and Bireh.
Accordingly, the number of Palestinian citizens killed by IOF gunfire on Sunday climbed to five martyrs, including one child.
The slain young men were identified as Suleiman Kanaan, 17, and Khaled Humeidat, 16.
The IOF reportedly detained the body of Humeidat and prevented an ambulance crew from reaching Kanaan immediately after shooting him.
Earlier, three Palestinians, including a child, were shot dead by Israeli soldiers in al-Khalil and Jericho.
The Red Crescent said that one of its ambulance crew received the bodies of two young men after they were killed by IOF gunfire in Wadi al-Rim area near al-Sa’ir town in al-Khalil.
The young men were identified as Ahmed Jabbarin and Issa Jabbarin.
The Israeli army claimed that the young men tried to carry out a shooting operation near the settlement bloc of Gush Etzion in al-Khalil.
Earlier, Palestinian medical sources announced the death of a 14-year-old child called Louay al-Sufi after he suffered a critical bullet injury in his chest in Ein al-Sultan refugee camp in Jericho.
