SALFIT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian resistance fighter reportedly opened fire at an Israeli vehicle belonging to the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) near the illegal settlement of Ariel in Salfit province, north of the West Bank.
According to the Hebrew media, an Israeli car belonging to an Israeli soldier came under fire near Ariel settlement.
The Hebrew media claimed that one Palestinian gunman showered the car with bullets as the soldier, who was driving it, was heading for an outpost near Ariel, adding that the shooter fled the scene.
Soon later, the IOF set up checkpoints and closed entrance gates on roads leading to towns and villages in the provinces of Salfit and Qalqilya and launched a manhunt for the shooter.
